Adrian Lewis set for 2025 return after signing MODUS deal

Adrian Lewis is set to return to competitive darts in 2025 after signing a new management deal with MODUS.
The two-time World Champion has been out of action since April last year after announcing he would be taking an ‘indefinite break‘ from the PDC circuit.
Lewis has subsequently dropped out of the world’s top 64 and is set to lose his Tour Card at the end of the season after 20 years as a professional.
However, ‘Jackpot’ has announced his intention to return to the oche in 2025 via the MODUS Super Series, after signing with leading management company MODUS on Tuesday.
“I’m delighted to be returning to the sport that I love, and to be backed by MODUS Sports Management going forward,” said Lewis.
“I feel refreshed and re-energised, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for me.
“I will not be rushing back to Q-School just yet, but I am not ruling it out in the future. Firstly I shall be looking to play the MODUS Super Series in 2025 as my pathway back to the Professional circuit.”

Back-to-back World Champion in 2011 and 2012, Lewis’ most recent televised ranking title came at the 2014 UK Open, while his last appearance in a major final came at the 2016 World Championship.
The 39-year-old, who ended a three-year wait for a ranking title on the ProTour in July 2022, has remained active on the exhibition circuit during his PDC hiatus but will focus on regaining his competitive sharpness away from the PDC circuit next year.
The MODUS Super Series has grown to become the showpiece event in amateur darts since launching in 2022, offering an annual prize fund in excess of £1 million.
Matches are played behind closed doors at a full-time venue in Portsmouth as 12 players compete in group matches from Monday to Friday, with six qualifiers moving through to Finals Night in front of a live audience on Saturday.
Every 13 weeks, a Champions Week will take place to determine the overall winner from the 12 weekly winners as they vie for a £20,000 top prize.
Current Premier League champion and World Championship runner-up Luke Littler notably won two Champions Week titles before his breakthrough in the PDC ranks.
