Grand Slam of Darts News
The 19th staging of the Grand Slam of Darts will take place from November 9-17 at the Aldersley Leisure Village as 32 players compete for £650,000 in prize money.
The field is comprised of TV tournament winners and finalists from over the past 12 months, as well as a series of qualifiers from the PDC circuit and affiliate tours.
The top two players from each of the eight groups following the round-robin phase will progress to the knock-out stages.
Luke Littler is the defending champion after he thrashed Martin Lukeman 16-3 in last year’s final to clinch his first major ranking title.
Littler heads a high quality field which also includes 2023 champion Luke Humphries and three-time champions Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen.
2022 champion Michael Smith also features, alongside former finalists James Wade, Gary Anderson and Nathan Aspinall.
Three-time Women’s World Champion Beau Greaves returns to the line-up alongside Women’s World Matchplay champion Lisa Ashton, while notable debutants include Niko Springer, Karel Sedlacek and Lukas Wenig.
