Jack Main has been handed a two-year ban from DRA governed events after being charged with match-fixing in the Modus Super Series.

Main, 27, held a PDC Tour Card from 2021-2022 and has subsequently competed on the PDC Challenge Tour and in the Modus Super Series.

In November, it was announced that Main had been suspended by the DRA over suspicious betting patterns on his match against Lisa Ashton in the Modus Super Series on June 9, 2023, which ended 4-0 to Ashton.

After an investigation, DRA Chairman Nigel Mawer decided that Main had a case to answer for breaches of the DRA betting rules.

The case was heard on December 11 and Main was charged with fixing the outcome of the match, breaching DRA Betting Rules 2.1.2 and 2.1.3.

Main has been suspended from attending or competing in DRA governed events until December 31, 2025 and ordered to pay £762.41 in costs. He has the right to appeal the decision of the Disciplinary Committee.

The cases involving Prakash Jiwa and Andy Jenkins remain ongoing, with both players still suspended by the DRA over suspicious betting patterns on matches in the same event.
