The 2026 World Series of Darts Finals draws to a close in Amsterdam on Sunday as the final eight face off for the title.
A quartet of former champions are amongst the remaining hopes as they bid to regain the trophy and £100,000 top prize at the AFAS Live.
The afternoon session plays host to the quarter-final ties, before the semi-finals and final follow in a bumper evening session.
Luke Littler steps up his pursuit of an extraordinary clean sweep of major titles in 2026 and faces a quarter-final showdown with 2021 champion Jonny Clayton.
The back-to-back World Champion and World Matchplay winner is without defeat in major competition (outside of the Premier League) since last October’s European Championship and recently romped to a second European Tour title of the year at the Czech Darts Open.
The world number one defied the partisan Dutch crowd to overcome Danny Noppert 6-4 on Friday night despite missing 14 darts at doubles, and he survived another scare in edging past Nathan Aspinall 10-9 on Saturday despite a staggering 22 missed darts at the outer ring.
Clayton will be out to punish any further profligacy on the doubles from the teenager as he aims to record a fifth head-to-head win in what is their 13th meeting.
The world number five came through a scrappy opening tie against Maik Kuivenhoven with an 89 average and was again forced to dig deep to end the hopes of Japan’s Motomu Sakai with a 10-8 success on Saturday.
Another blockbuster tie sees two-time champion Gerwyn Price take on 2018 champion James Wade.
Price, who has enjoyed the lion’s share of his recent televised success on the World Series in recent years, fended off a valiant mid-match revival from Brody Klinge to prevail 6-4 with a 99 average, before brushing aside Canada’s Jim Long 10-5 in the Last 16.
Wade, who is riding high after picking up both the Australian Masters and Flanders Darts Trophy titles in recent weeks, edged out Damon Heta in a deciding leg before averaging 101.4 in a 10-7 win over Wessel Nijman to extend his unbeaten streak to ten matches in all competitions.
One Dutchman is guaranteed to feature in the evening’s semi-finals on home soil as Gian van Veen and Dirk van Duijvenbode go head-to-head for the right to remain in the running for glory.
Dutch number one Van Veen is featuring at this stage of the competition for the first time after demolishing Chris Dobey 6-2 and going on to defeat Czechia’s Karel Sedlacek 10-7 with a 101.5 in a high quality contest.
Van Duijvebode, runner-up in 2022, has put his poor recent European Tour form behind him to reach a second televised quarter-final of the year courtesy of wins over Sweden’s Viktor Tingstrom and world number two Luke Humphries – notably recovering from 6-3 down to thrill the partisan crowd.
The opening match of the afternoon sees Ross Smith – a two-time European Tour event winner this season – take on Austrian Open champion Josh Rock.
Smith has continued his blistering recent run of form to defeat Kevin Doets and Daryl Gurney for the combined loss of eight legs and with successive ton-plus averages.
Rock, meanwhile, came from behind to edge out Stephen Bunting in an epic last-leg decider with a 102 average, before seeing off Ryan Searle 10-7 to reach his fourth televised singles quarter-final of the year.
The action gets under way from 12pm BST, with quarter-final ties to be contested over the best of 19 legs and semi-finals and the final best of 21.
