The 15th staging of the World Cup of Darts features 40 two-player teams competing for £450,000 in prize money at the Eissporthalle from June 12-15.
The top four ranked nations, based on the lowest cumulative PDC Order of Merit ranking of the two competing players, are seeded and will enter at the Second Round stage.
The remaining 36 teams are split into 12 groups of three for the round-robin first round – including 12 seeded nations – from which each group winner will progress.
All matches are contested in a pairs format with alternate visits, making it the only pairs tournament on the PDC calendar.
England are the defending champions after they defeated Austria 10-6 in last year’s final.
Luke Humphries will return to captain England but will be partnered for the first time by reigning World Champion Luke Littler.
Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price will pair up once again for two-time champions Wales, while Gary Anderson and Peter Wright return for third seeds Scotland.
Fourth seeds Northern Ireland are represented by Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney, while Danny Noppert and Gian van Veen pair up for the Netherlands in the absence of Michael van Gerwen.
Argentina will make their debut in this year’s World Cup of Darts, while India return to the field in place of Iceland.
