Luke Humphries and Luke Littler have been installed as odds-on favourites to claim World Cup of Darts glory for England in 2025.

The world number one and two will pair up for the first time as they bid to successfully defend the title for England, with Humphries and Michael Smith having triumphed 12 months ago.

The box office duo will head to Frankfurt from June 12-15 in a quest to claim a record-extending sixth World Cup crown for England since the tournament began in 2010.

Humphries and Littler, who recently contested the Premier League final and have formed the sport’s most captivating modern rivalry, join forces as the number one seeds in the draw.

Unsurprisingly, England go into the event as huge favourites to lift the trophy, with tournament sponsors BetVictor offering 2/5 for a successful title defence.

England are one of four seeded nations in the draw who will start out in the Second Round, alongside Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Two-time champions Wales, who are set to be represented by multiple major winners Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton, lead the chasing pack as 5/1 second favourites to complete a hat-trick of titles.

Scotland, who have also claimed the crown on two occasions and finished runner-up in 2023, have been priced at 12/1 as two-time World Champions Gary Anderson and Peter Wright look to restore their former glories.

Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney will link up for the first time as Northern Ireland’s pairing and are 20/1, partially reflecting their position in the top half of the draw alongside England.

World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker makes his debut alongside Dimitri Van den Bergh, with the decorated duo priced at 18/1 to deliver Belgium’s first title.

Gian van Veen will pull on the Netherlands shirt for the first time alongside Danny Noppert, with the Dutch duo also priced at 11/1 to upset the applecart.

Hosts Germany, represented by three-time European Tour event winner Martin Schindler and debutant Ricardo Pietreczko are 28/1 each-way hopefuls.

Australia are once again represented by Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock – who are 40/1 to replicate their memorable 2022 triumph at the Eissporthalle.

Last year’s runners-up Austria, represented by stalwart Mensur Suljović and newcomer Rusty-Jake Rodriguez, are 66/1 to go one better than 12 months ago on this stage.

Tournament sponsors BetVictor are offering new customers the chance to claim a massive 30/1 on England to win the World Cup of Darts when signing up via this link.
