Grand Slam of Darts 2023 odds | Humphries new favourite for crown
Luke Humphries has been installed as the bookmakers favourite to win the Grand Slam of Darts following Gerwyn Price’s elimination at the hands of Gary Anderson.
Price had been the dominant force since the event moved to the Aldersley Leisure Village, winning three of the last five stagings, but was defeated by Anderson in the Round of 16.
The Iceman has secured a second World Cup of Darts title alongside Jonny Clayton for Wales this year and was runner-up in both the Premier League and the World Grand Prix.
With Price no longer in contention, Humphries has been made the favourite to win the tournament, making it back to back Grand Slams for the Englishman.
Reigning Premier League champion Van Gerwen has fallen at the Quarter-Final hurdle in each of his last three Grand Slam appearances but didn’t even make it that far this time only, losing out in the round of 16 against Damon Heta.
James Wade, a three-time Grand Slam runner-up and also a beaten finalist in the recent European Championship, is 12/1 to finally add this silverware to his haul following his group stage victory over Michael Smith.
Stowe Buntz is the outsider following the American’s amazing performances in the group stage, where he beat Peter Wright and Stephen Bunting, before losing out to Dave Chisnall.
