The 2022 World Seniors Masters takes place at Lakeside, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The over 50s tournament runs from May 27-29 and incorporates a prize fund of £31,000 as the stars of yesteryear return to the home of world darts – the Lakeside.

The line-up features nine former World Champions from both PDC and BDO codes, plus number of multiple major winners.

The field is headed by Phil Taylor – who won the first of his 16 World Championship titles at Lakeside back in 1990 and is now eyeing a maiden Seniors crown.

Reigning World Seniors champion Robert Thornton, who claimed glory at The Circus Tavern in February, looks to pick up from where he left off, while beaten finalist Martin Adams returns to his favourite hunting ground – where he has claimed three world titles.

Former World Champions John Lowe, John Part, Bob Anderson, Keith Deller and Les Wallace are joined by former Women’s World Champions Trina Gulliver and Lisa Ashton.

Kevin Painter and Terry Jenkins will be out to go a step further than their Semi-Final runs in Purfleet, while crowd favourites Paul Lim, Roland Scholten, Deta Hedman and Tony O’Shea target their first wins.

The likes of Wayne Jones, Colin Monk and David Cameron will make their televised World Seniors debuts.

All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals will be contested over the best of seven sets, with Semi-Finals best of nine and final best of 13. All sets are the best of three legs.
