The race to secure places in the 2022 Players Championship Finals culminates in Barnsley this weekend.

Following Saturday’s Players Championship 30, the top 64 players on the Players Championship Order of Merit will qualify for the Finals in Minehead from November 25-27.

Seedings for the £600,000 major televised event are solely based on prize money earned in Players Championship events throughout the season.

Damon Heta currently leads the way at the top of the Order of Merit, having picked up two ProTour titles this year, as well as finishing runner-up in Event Three.

Luke Humphries, winner of Event One and runner-up in Event 28, follows in second spot, ahead of Dirk van Duijvenbode, Nathan Aspinall and Michael Smith – who has claimed a hat-trick of ProTour titles this year.

World Youth finalist Josh Rock, winner of Event 28, will be among the notable debutants at Butlins Minehead later this month, alongside the likes of Scott Williams, Matt Campbell and Martin Lukeman.

Martijn Kleermaker currently occupies the 64th and final provisional qualification spot going into the final double-header of floor events, just £250 clear of the chasing pack – led by Andy Boulton.

2019 semi-finalist Ian White, former BDO World Champion Scott Waites and former World Cup winner John Henderson are among those currently beneath the cut-off.
