The Women’s World Matchplay returns to Blackpool in 2024, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The third staging of the event will be held on Sunday July 21 and will see eight players competing for £25,000 in prize money.

The winner will also secure a place in November’s Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Championship at Alexandra Palace the following month.

The field is comprised of the top eight players from the rolling 12-month PDC Women’s Series Order of Merit, with six different nations represented this year.

Beau Greaves is the defending champion after she thrashed Mikuru Suzuki 6-1 in last year’s final.

Two-time Women’s World Champion Greaves returns as the number one seed and is joined in the field by 2022 Women’s World Matchplay champion Fallon Sherrock, four-time Women’s World Champion Lisa Ashton and two-time Women’s World Champion Suzuki.

Three-time Women’s World Champion Anastasia Dobromyslova makes her debut in this year’s Betfred Women’s World Matchplay.

Challenge Tour event winner Noa-Lynn van Leuven, two-time women’s world finalist Rhian O’Sullivan and 20-year-old Irish star Katie Sheldon also feature.

Quarter-Final matches will be contested over the best of seven legs, with Semi-Finals best of nine and the final best of 11.
