The Women’s World Matchplay returns to the Winter Gardens in 2026, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The fifth staging of the event will be held on Sunday July 26 and will see eight players competing for a record £40,000 in prize money.
The winner will also secure a place in November’s Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Championship at Alexandra Palace the following month.
The line-up is comprised of the top eight players from the rolling 12-month PDC Women’s Series Order of Merit.
Lisa Ashton is the defending champion after she defeated Fallon Sherrock 6-5 in a dramatic final 12 months ago to claim the title for the first time.
Beau Greaves is bidding for a third Women’s World Matchplay title, having gone back-to-back in 2023 and 2024, while Sherrock was crowned inaugural champion in 2022.
Reigning WDF Women’s World Champion Deta Hedman will make her debut in the event alongside Sweden’s Vicky Pruim.
Gemma Hayter returns to the line-up, alongside Finland’s Kirsi Viinikainen and two-time BDO world finalist Rhian O’Sullivan.
Quarter-final and semi-final matches will be contested over the best of nine legs, with the final best of 11.
