Players Championship 2020 Event Five Draw: The First Round line-up for Saturday’s ProTour event in Wigan
The draw for the fifth Players Championship event of the season has been confirmed, with 128 players in action in Wigan.
The fifth of 30 Players Championship events to be held across the season will feature 128 players competing at the Robin Park Sports Centre on Saturday February 22.
The event carries a total prize fund of £75,000, with money acquired counting towards both the ProTour Order of Merit and main Order of Merit.
World number one Michael van Gerwen will be out to clinch the first ranking title of the season, while World Champion Peter Wright, World Matchplay champion Rob Cross and Grand Slam champion Gerwyn Price also feature.
Gary Anderson, Nathan Aspinall, Ryan Searle and Krzysztof Ratajski are bidding to follow up their triumphs in previous weekends, while the likes of Michael Smith, Dave Chisnall, Glen Durrant, Daryl Gurney and Ian White also feature.
PDC newcomers including Scott Waites, Lisa Ashton, Nick Kenny, Martijn Kleermaker and Wesley Harms will also be out to make an impact.
Play commences at 12pm GMT, with matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals to be contested over the best of 11 legs, while Semi-Finals are best of 13 and the final is best of 15.
