BetWright Sister Sites: Every Casino on the Same Licence

BetWright doesn’t have any sister sites.

Onyx Gaming, the company behind it, has seven domains sitting on its Gambling Commission licence. Six are switched off. That leaves one trading name, one working website, and nothing else to point you at.

The dead ones are the interesting bit. Three of them still resolve, and all three now dump you straight into BetWright’s casino.

BetWright UK Facing Sister Casino Sites

BetWright is a trading name of Onyx Gaming Limited, which holds Gambling Commission account 64666. The account carries remote casino, remote bingo and two betting licences covering real and virtual events.

Seven domains are registered against it. One works.

The trading names list is even shorter than the domain list. One entry: betwright.

Those dates tell a story the register does not. The six retired brands did not start life here. Slot Strike and Casimpo both go back to 2018, Avenger Slots and Slotty Slots to 2019, Ace Online Casino to 2020, and each came up through a different white-label network before landing on this licence. Bet Arno is the youngest at 2023 and still did not survive. BetWright itself only arrived in 2024.

Which is the useful lesson. Brands move between platforms and licences, get switched off, and leave a trail on the register that outlives the casino by years.

Three of the dead brands now feed straight into BetWright

This is the part worth doing yourself, because it takes about thirty seconds.

Type aceonlinecasino.co.uk, avengerslots.com or slotstrike.com into a browser and you land on betwright.com/casino, tracking parameter attached. Onyx has not simply closed those casinos. It has pointed their remaining traffic at the one brand it still runs.

The other three are just gone. Bet Arno returns a 403, Casimpo throws a server error and Slotty Slots does not respond at all.

So the honest version of “BetWright sister sites” is this: there were six, they are finished, and half of them are now a doorway into BetWright itself. If a page offers you a list of live BetWright sisters to sign up to, it has not checked.

An established company with a brand new British licence

Worth separating two things that often get muddled. Onyx Gaming Limited was incorporated at Companies House on 26 October 2017, so the company is eight years old. Its Gambling Commission licence only went active on 18 November 2024.

BetWright’s own support pages describe Onyx as “a well-established online casino and sports betting operator with nearly a decade of experience”, which squares with the incorporation date rather than the licence date.

For comparison, the operators behind most casinos you will have heard of have held their licences for a decade or more. SkillOnNet, which runs PlayOJO and 17 other UK brands, has been licensed since November 2014. So has L&L Europe, behind All British Casino.

Onyx is also British in a way most of its competitors are not. It is incorporated in England and Wales with company number 11033330, and the Gambling Commission lists its head office in London. The bigger networks run out of Malta, Gibraltar or Cyprus.

Whether a young licence matters to you is a judgement call. A short history means a short compliance record, in both directions: nothing bad on it, but nothing much on it either. What the register does give you is the ability to check, which is more than the marketing offers.

BetWright is a sportsbook that happens to have a casino

Worth being clear about what you are signing up to, because the casino is the smaller half.

BetWright leads with sports betting, and the sports list is long: football, horse racing, greyhounds, cricket, boxing, golf, Formula 1, Gaelic football and hurling, handball, and darts. The casino sits behind the same login at betwright.com/casino, and it is where those three retired brands now send their traffic.

That combination is rarer than it sounds. Onyx holds betting licences for both real and virtual events, and plenty of casino operators simply do not. SkillOnNet’s entire 18-brand network holds casino, bingo and software licences and no betting licence at all, so not one of its casinos can take a bet on the darts.

One thing that combination no longer buys you. Since 19 January 2026 operators cannot run promotions that require you to bet on sport and play casino games to qualify, so the old cross-product offers are gone across the British market. Our darts betting sites page covers the sportsbook side.

BestOdds is not a BetWright sister site

Worth heading off, because the two get grouped together and both are sports-led brands aimed at the same audience.

BestOdds does not appear on account 64666. The only active domain on that licence is betwright.com. Whatever the commercial relationship between the two brands, they are not sister sites in the sense that matters, which is that a different company answers to the regulator for each of them.

It is a useful illustration of why the register beats assumption. The likely reason the two get bracketed together is the technology: BetWright runs on the Playbook Gaming platform, and brands sharing a platform tend to get filed together in operator lists even when the licences are separate. Sharing a supplier is not sharing a licensee, and only the second determines who handles your complaint.

There is an upside to having no sisters

Most sister-site pages treat a big network as a selling point. More brands, more welcome offers, more places to play.

It cuts the other way too.

Account restrictions are applied by the licence holder, not the brand, so at a large network a closure at one casino can reach every other casino that licensee runs. On a single-brand licence there is nothing else to reach. There is also no ambiguity about who you are dealing with, no white-label brand owner sitting between you and the licensee, and no chance of accidentally opening a second account inside the same group and breaching a one-offer-per-group bonus term.

If you would rather your gambling accounts were not quietly connected to each other, a licence with one active domain does that by default.

Self-exclusion is the exception, and it should be. GamStop covers every UK-licensed operator, so registering closes BetWright along with everything else, regardless of how small the network is.

What the register won’t tell you here

Two limits, both visible on this licence.

Inactive does not mean deleted. All six retired brands are still listed. Three of them still resolve and redirect. A domain sitting on the register tells you it was declared, not that anything is running there, and we only established which was which by loading all seven.

It records domains, not relationships. The register shows Onyx operates betwright.com. It says nothing about who owns Onyx, who it partners with commercially, or whether a brand marketed alongside BetWright shares anything beyond an audience. For that you are reading footers and terms pages.
