Paddy Power Nottingham Forest v Man City Offer | 50/1 for Man City to win
Paddy Power are offering new customers huge odds of 50/1 for Man City to beat Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Nottingham Forest welcome Manchester City to the City Ground in a Premier League encounter between two sides desperate for points, albeit for very different reasons.
Forest enter the weekend languishing in 19th place, having managed just one victory from their opening nine league matches. Oliver Glasner’s side have struggled particularly badly on home soil, failing to score in any of their four league fixtures at the City Ground this season.
Despite those disappointing results, Forest have shown glimpses of promise. Their attacking statistics suggest they are creating opportunities, but a lack of clinical finishing has proved costly. With just six league goals, they possess the division’s least productive attack.
Manchester City, meanwhile, arrive looking to arrest an unexpected dip in domestic form. After winning their opening seven Premier League matches under Enzo Maresca, consecutive defeats against Aston Villa and Brighton have allowed Arsenal to establish a three-point advantage at the summit.
However, City’s midweek 3-2 Champions League victory over RB Leipzig provided a timely confidence boost, with Erling Haaland scoring the winner.
The Norwegian striker will undoubtedly represent Forest’s biggest defensive concern, while the creativity of Rayan Cherki and Phil Foden could prove decisive against opponents struggling for consistency.
There is also an intriguing subplot surrounding Elliot Anderson, who returns to his former club after joining City during the summer. The midfielder scored Forest’s equaliser in March’s 2-2 draw between the teams.
Forest will hope Igor Jesus can provide an attacking boost following his return to training, although Nicolás Domínguez remains unavailable. City will be without injured forward Antoine Semenyo, while Nico O’Reilly’s fitness remains uncertain.
History favours the visitors, with Forest winning just one of their previous nine Premier League meetings against City. Nevertheless, the hosts secured a memorable 1-0 victory in March 2025, demonstrating their ability to trouble illustrious opponents.
