The Boylesports World Grand Prix returns to Leicester in 2024, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The annual double-start tournament will see 32 players competing for the prestigious trophy and £600,000 prize fund at the Mattioli Arena.
The top 16 players from the main PDC Order of Merit are joined in the field by the next 16 highest ranked players from the ProTour Order of Merit.
Luke Humphries the defending champion after he defeated Gerwyn Price 5-2 in last year’s final to clinch his first major title.
Humphries is the number one seed as he looks to become only the third player in the 27-year history of the tournament to successfully defend the title.
Six-time champion Michael van Gerwen is out to recapture the title he first won in 2012 and most recently captured a decade later, while other former champions in the field include James Wade, Daryl Gurney, Jonny Clayton and Price.
Premier League champion Luke Littler is one of five debutants in this year’s field, alongside Gian van Veen, Ricardo Pietreczko, Ritchie Edhouse and Cameron Menzies.
Former World Grand Prix finalists Raymond van Barneveld, Brendan Dolan, Dave Chisnall, Gary Anderson, Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall also feature.
First Round matches are to be contested over the best of three sets, Second Round and Quarter-Final ties are best of five, with Semi-Finals best of nine and the final best of 11.
All sets are the best of five legs and there will be no tie break in any set. All legs must begin and end with a double, meaning that a player must hit a double before they can begin scoring in each leg.
