The Dutch Darts Championship draws to a close in Rosmalen on Sunday as the 16 remaining players vie for the title.

A £30,000 top prize is on offer at the Autotron as ten seeds and six qualifiers battle it out over two sessions.

The afternoon session plays host to the Third Round ties, before the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and final follow in the evening.

Reigning champion Dave Chisnall steps up the defence of his title with a clash against two-time European Tour event winner Jonny Clayton.

Top seed Chisnall averaged 100.7 in a routine 6-2 win over Niels Zonneveld on Saturday and is bidding to reach his first Euro Tour quarter-final of what has been a below-par year so far by his standards.

Clayton is seeking his first Euro Tour quarter-final since the Belgian Open back in March, having defied a power-scoring display from host nation qualifier Marvin van Velzen in Round Two.

Michael van Gerwen is among four Dutchmen left standing in the competition and resumes his quest for a first ranking title of 2024 with a showdown against Chris Dobey.

Van Gerwen is the only Premier League play-off participant in action this weekend and opened up with a 6-0 whitewash of compatriot Kevin Doets with a 97 average.

Dobey also enjoyed a whitewash win to kick off his campaign, thrashing Moreno Blom on Saturday, and it was that same 6-0 scoreline which he defeated MVG by in their most recent meeting on the ProTour back in February.

Elsewhere, former World Champion Gerwyn Price faces a crunch clash with European Championship semi-finalist Gian van Veen.

After missing the last two events through injury, Price marked his return to the European Tour with an emphatic whitewash of Mickey Mansell, averaging 101.3 in the process.

The Welshman now faces home favourite Van Veen – who survived two missed match darts from Dom Taylor on Saturday night before edging through in a last-leg decider.

At least one Dutchman is guaranteed to feature in the evening’s quarter-finals as Danny Noppert and Jermaine Wattimena go head-to-head.

Fourth seed Noppert edged out Andrew Gilding in a deciding leg on Saturday, while Wattimena followed up his controversial win over Joe Cullen by coming through another decider against 13th seed Ricardo Pietreczko.

UK Open champion Dimitri van den Bergh defied a nine-darter from Ross Smith in a remarkable contest on Saturday night, and the Belgian now takes on International Open winner Martin Schindler.

Former European Tour event finalist Josh Rock, the number six seed, takes on in-form Cameron Menzies – who has dispatched multiple World Champions Raymond van Barneveld and Peter Wright for the combined loss of just four legs this weekend.

The enigmatic Scot is now bidding to reach his first Euro Tour quarter-final in five years and remain in contention for a World Matchplay debut in July.

Multiple ranking event winner Ryan Searle resumes his pursuit of a maiden Euro Tour title when he meets Sweden’s Jeffrey De Graaf – who dumped out Stephen Bunting in Round Two.

Ritchie Edhouse is eyeing a third quarter-final in the space of five European Tour events, and he comes up against Luke Woodhouse – who has already seen off Ryan Meikle and Daryl Gurney en route to this stage.

The action gets under way from 12pm BST, with Third Round and Quarter-Final ties to be contested over the best of 11 legs, Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
