The World Seniors Darts Championship returns to The Circus Tavern in 2025, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The fourth staging of the event sees 28 players competing for glory at the iconic Circus Tavern in Purfleet – the former home of the PDC World Championship.

The tournament, which features a host of former World Champions, major title winners and qualifiers, will take place from February 19-22.

John Henderson is the defending champion after he whitewashed Colin McGarry 5-0 in last year’s final to claim the title for the first time.

Henderson is the number one seed in a star-studded field which includes seven former World Champions and a host of high-profile debutants.

Among those is 1996 Lakeside World Champion Steve Beaton – one of three players to have dropped off the PDC circuit last season competing in this event.

Former European Champion Simon Whitlock and former World Master Mervyn King also make their debuts in this prestigious event.

Robert Thornton, the 2022 and 2023 World Seniors champion, is joined by Scottish compatriots Henderson, Jim McEwan and Ross Montgomery.

Richie Burnett, the 1995 Lakeside World Champion, is one of four Welshman in action, alongside Mike Huntley, Derek Coulson and Richard Rowlands.

Three-time World Seniors major winner Leonard Gates is the number four seed, while 2023 runner-up Richie Howson is the number three seed.

Three-time World Champions Martin Adams and John Part return to the line-up, alongside ten-time Women’s World Champion Trina Gulliver and four-time Women’s World Champion Lisa Ashton.

Former WDF World Champion Neil Duff also features, as well as former Players Champion Kevin Painter, three-time Lakeside finalist Tony O’Shea and two-time Lakeside semi-finalist Chris Mason.

Former PDC world finalist Mark Dudbridge also returns to the Circus Tavern stage, as well as last year’s runner-up McGarry, former BDO World Trophy winner Darryl Fitton, Paul Hogan and debutants Graham Usher and Kevin Edwards.

All matches up to and including the Semi-Finals will be contested over the best of five sets, while the final is best of nine.
