Fallon Sherrock handed World Series of Darts debut in New York

Women’s darts sensation Fallon Sherrock has been rewarded for her ground-breaking World Championship win with a place in the 2020 US Darts Masters in New York.

Sherrock defeated Ted Evetts to become the first female ever to win a match in a PDC World Championship, a story which has receieved worldwide coverage and has already proved an iconic moment in the history of women’s sport.

The 25-year-old has been thrust into the limelight and is now set to take America by storm at the at New York’s Madison Square Garden next June.

She will now join the likes of current World Champion Michael van Gerwen in the World Series event from June 5-6 alongside a host of other PDC stars and eight north American qualifiers.

Sherrock said: “I can’t believe it – this is amazing news for me. It’s been a crazy couple of days and I’m not sure everything has sunk in yet.

“It’s all really exciting and to get to play in the World Series in New York will be a fantastic experience for me. This shows that if me and other women show what we can do and win matches, we’ll be rewarded with more opportunities like this. I can’t wait.”

“Fallon will get the dream ticket in terms of an invitation to the World Series of Darts in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, New York.
