Beau Greaves will attempt to secure a PDC Tour Card at UK Qualifying School in 2025, her management company have confirmed.

Greaves, who clinched a third consecutive Women’s World Championship title at Lakeside last weekend, will head to Milton Keynes in January in a bid to join the PDC circuit full-time.

Greaves last appeared at Q School as a 16-year-old back in 2020 but will return having racked up an abundance of titles across the PDC and WDF systems in recent years.

The back-to-back Women’s World Matchplay champion has remarkably won 236 of 270 matches contested in 2024, storming to eight PDC Women’s Series titles.

She became the first player since Trina Gulliver to secure a hat-trick of Lakeside titles, dropping just one set along the way.

Having finished in the top eight of the PDC Development Tour Order of Merit, she is directly admitted to the final phase of the Q School from January 9-12 – where 128 players will compete for coveted two-year Tour Cards.

A statement from Greaves’ management company Opus Sports read:

‘We are so excited to announce that Beau Greaves, the current 3x Women’s World Champion & 2x Women’s World Matchplay Champion, is taking on a new challenge in January… PDC Q School!’

‘Whilst some may feel it has been a long time coming, our aim is to ensure our players feel absolutely comfortable in what they play and make their own decisions, in their own time!

‘We FULLY back Beau’s decision in trying Q School in January, and truly believe she is ready for this step in her darting career!

‘As Beau has finished in the top eight of the Development Tour order of merit, she is heading straight to the final phases of Q School, which begin on the 9th of January 2025.

‘We are so excited to see what happens over those four days in Milton Keynes. Not only is there opportunity for a tour card, but even if that isn’t achieved, it opens the door for much more darting action in 2025.’

Greaves has made one PDC World Championship appearance (2022/23) but has since been forced to decide between Ally Pally and Lakeside, opting for the latter in the last two years.

She has also competed in successive Grand Slams, registering one group win in each appearance.

The Doncaster darter will bid to become only the second female, after Lisa Ashton in 2020, to secure a PDC Tour Card at Qualifying School.
