Premier League Darts heads to Aberdeen for Night 13 on Thursday with another important set of fixtures beckoning in the race for the play-offs.

Just four nights of league action remain before the top four players in the table progress to The O2 to compete for the sport’s most prestigious invitational title.

Jonny Clayton and Luke Littler have all but secured their spot in next month’s Finals Night, leaving the other six players to battle it out for the two remaining places.

Littler joined Clayton on four nightly titles courtesy of his triumph in Liverpool last week, closing the gap at the top of the table to three points.

The back-to-back World Champion has spent only two of the 12 weeks so far at the summit but could regain top spot with a fifth nightly victory north of the border.

Littler kicks off the night’s action with a tie against debutant Josh Rock – who remains rooted to the foot of the table.

Littler boasts a flawless record against Rock, having won all seven of their previous meetings, including semi-finals at the 2025 World Matchplay and 2026 UK Open.

Rock’s run of four consecutive quarter-final wins in the Premier League came to an end last week with a 6-3 defeat to Michael van Gerwen, leaving him ten points adrift of the play-off places.

Meanwhile, a potentially pivotal fixture in the race for the play-offs sees defending champion Luke Humphries take on seven-time champion Van Gerwen.

Van Gerwen currently occupies fourth spot and holds a five-point buffer over Humphries in sixth, with the world number two facing an uphill battle if he is to have a chance of defending his title in the capital.

Van Gerwen, who triumphed on Night One in Newcastle, has reached a further three weekly finals and has won two of his three Premier League meetings with Humphries this season.

Humphries is remarkably yet to claim a weekly title this season, reaching just one final so far, and has picked up just one win from his last five Premier League outings.

Gian van Veen represents Van Gerwen’s closest challengers in the top four race, with the European Champion bidding to bridge a four-point gap between himself and his Dutch compatriot.

The World Championship runner-up ended a run of consecutive quarter-final defeats by defeating Gerwyn Price in Liverpool before being edged out in a last-leg decider by Jonny Clayton.

Van Veen now has an immediate chance for revenge over Clayton when the pair face off for the fifth time in this year’s Premier League.

Clayton has won three of those four encounters – including the Night Three final in Glasgow – which marked the first of his four weekly titles to date.

The 2021 champion is safely assured of a place at The O2 and will be keen to progress in top spot – where he has spent eight of the first 12 weeks.

Clayton’s Welsh World Cup team-mate Price looks to end a run of three straight quarter-final exits when he faces Stephen Bunting.

Price, who has two weekly titles to his name this term, looked all but assured of a place in the play-offs, but three weeks without a point mean he still has work to do in order to ensure a return.

Price has won 16 of his 25 previous meetings with Bunting, including both of their Premier League encounters this season, and continues to hold down a tournament checkout success of 46.5 per cent.

Bunting has suffered back-to-back quarter-final losses, including a 6-5 defeat to Clayton on home soil in Liverpool last week – where he averaged just 90.4.

The former Lakeside Champion finds himself seven points adrift of the top four and knows he can ill-afford to leave the P&J Arena empty-handed if he is to have any chance of making finals night.

The action gets under way from 7pm BST, with all matches to be contested over the best of 11 legs.
