Premier League Darts heads to Glasgow for Night Two on Thursday as the big names go head-to-head at the OVO Hydro.

The opening night of the 17-week roadshow saw Luke Humphries take the crown in Belfast to pick up maximum five points and put down an early marker.

The elite invitational now travels north of the border, but without Scottish representation in the event for the first time since 2010.

World number one Humphries, who celebrated his 30th birthday earlier this week, looks to extend his unbeaten start to the competition when he faces Chris Dobey in a repeat of last week’s final.

The reigning Winmau World Masters champion thrashed Dobey 6-1 to clinch the £10,000 bonus in Belfast and will be eyeing a repeat display when they face off in the fourth quarter-final.

Dobey fell short of securing a second title in as many visits to Belfast but left with three points in a strong return which saw him record 6-4 wins over Gerwyn Price and Rob Cross.

The former Masters champion also enjoyed a superb run to the final of Players Championship 2 on Tuesday, where he was narrowly beaten 8-7 by Price.

The opening quarter-final tie sees reigning World Champion Luke Littler take on former World Champion Cross.

Defending champion Littler, who claimed the crown in his debut Premier League campaign in 2024, is looking to get off and running following his astonishing quarter-final defeat on opening night.

The 18-year-old was remarkably denied by Michael van Gerwen in a deciding leg of an epic contest which saw Littler average 113.9 to the Dutchman’s 105.9.

Littler is still searching for his first silverware of the season, having suffered defeats in the Last 32 and quarter-finals on the ProTour earlier this week.

Cross was beaten by Dobey in last week’s semi-finals but went on to claim his second title of 2025 at Players Championship 1 on Monday, defeating Joe Cullen 8-3 in the final with a 104.6 average.

The former Premier League runner-up is faced with a formidable task against Littler – who has averaged above 100 in ten of his 12 televised matches in 2025 so far.

Seven-time Premier League champion Van Gerwen takes on Bahrain Masters champion Bunting in another tasty showdown.

A hugely impressive opening night showing from MVG saw him defy the second highest losing average in the tournament’s history from Littler before being edged out in a deciding leg by Humphries with a 101.5 average in the semi-finals.

Van Gerwen claimed a hat-trick of weekly titles between weeks 2-4 last year, including in Glasgow, and the world finalist will be determined to repeat the feat this time around.

Bunting’s return to the Premier League for the first time in a decade ended in a 6-4 defeat to Cross in the quarter-finals, with ‘The Bullet’ averaging 94 in a below-par display.

The world number five will be keen to get his campaign off and running at the second attempt and is set for another rapturous reception from a sell-out crowd at the Hydro.

Meanwhile, in-form Gerwyn Price looks to pick up from where he left off on the ProTour 48 hours ago when he meets Nathan Aspinall.

Price ended a 15-month wait for a ranking title as he claimed glory at Players Championship 2 in Wigan, defeating the likes of Jonny Clayton, Littler, Ryan Searle and Dobey along the way.

The 2021 World Champion, who hit a nine-darter in last year’s Premier League but finished second from bottom of the table, aims to open his account at the expense of the tenacious Stockport star.

Aspinall was beaten 6-2 by Humphries in last week’s quarter-finals and will be determined to avoid a repeat of last year’s slow start which saw him lose his opening three matches.

The action gets under way from 7pm GMT, with all matches to be contested over the best of 11 legs.
