The stars of the sport collide at the 2024/25 World Darts Championship, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The greatest show on planet darts returns to Alexandra Palace from December 15 to January 3 as 96 players compete for the iconic Sid Waddell Trophy and £2.5 million in prize money.
The 32nd staging of the PDC World Championship will feature the top 32 players from the PDC Order of Merit, the next highest 32 ranked players from the ProTour Order of Merit, plus a further 32 International Qualifiers.
World number one Luke Humphries is the defending champion after securing his maiden world title courtesy of an historic 7-4 victory over Luke Littler in the final.
Humphries is the top seed as he bids to become only the fourth player in the history of the competition to successfully retain the title.
Teenage sensation Littler is bidding to go one better than 12 months ago and add to his Premier League Darts and Grand Slam of Darts titles this season.
Former World Champions including Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, Michael Smith, Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross and Raymond van Barneveld are also among a star-studded field.
Multiple major champions including Jonny Clayton, James Wade, Nathan Aspinall, Dimitri Van den Bergh and Stephen Bunting are also among the seeded contingent.
ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers include Wessel Nijman, Cameron Menzies, Alan Soutar and Wesley Plaisier – who have all claimed Players Championship titles this year.
The First Round sees the ProTour Order of Merit Qualifiers drawn against the international and domestic Qualifiers, with the winners set to take on the top 32 seeded players from the PDC Order of Merit in Round Two.
The Second Round will conclude across two sessions on Monday December 23 before a three-day Christmas break, while the third and fourth rounds will be held from December 27-30. The Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and final will take place from January 1-3.
