PDC World Darts Championship 2023/24 prize fund confirmed
The prize fund for the 2023/24 PDC World Darts Championship has been confirmed, with a total of £2.5m on offer across the tournament.
The PDC’s flagship event will take place from December 15-January 3 at Alexandra Palace as the elite of the darting world arrive in North London hoping to win the biggest prize in darts.
A total prize fund of £2.5m will be on offer across the competition, with the winner gaining £500,000, an amount that will have a huge bearing on their PDC ranking over the next couple of years.
The prize fund has now stayed the same for the past five years, remaining the biggest prize fund available in the darting calendar.
Michael Smith claimed the title in 2023, scooping the top prize, beating Michael van Gerwen in an unforgettable final. Smith, claiming his maiden World Championship, was also able to secure a nine dart finish in what many have described as the greatest leg of darts ever seen.
