Michael van Gerwen is one of seven players to have withdrawn from the second PDC Super Series next week.
The second quartet of Players Championship events are due to take place at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes from March 16-19.
World number two Van Gerwen, who was beaten in the Semi-Finals of the UK Open last weekend, has opted out of the PDC Super Series Two for personal reasons.
Van Gerwen is joined by Wesley Harms, Florian Hempel, Harald Leitinger, Robert Marijanovic, Cristo Reyes and Michael Unterbuchner in withdrawing.
They have been replaced by Qualifying School top-ups Rowby-John Rodriguez, Rusty-Jake Rodriguez, Michael Rastovits, Luc Peters, Lorenzo Pronk, Gino Vos and Chas Barstow.
A total of 128 players will compete across four days in Milton Keynes, with prize money standing at £75,000 per event and winnings counting towards the PDC Order of Merit, ProTour Order of Merit and Players Championship Order of Merit.
World Champion and world number one Gerwyn Price heads a star-studded field, alongside European Champion Peter Wright and world finalist Gary Anderson.
UK Open champion James Wade, Premier League champion Glen Durrant, Premier League runner-up Nathan Aspinall and Grand Slam champion Jose De Sousa are among the other notable names in action.
Five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld, who claimed a Super Series title on his ProTour return last month, is also back in action.
