The first European Tour silverware of the season is up for grabs at the 2026 Poland Darts Open on Sunday as the last 16 collide in Krakow.

Nine seeds and seven qualifiers remain in the running for the £35,000 top prize at the Krakow EXPO as they bid to become the winner of the first European Tour event to be held in Poland.

The afternoon session plays host to the Last 16 ties, before the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final follow in the evening.

World number one Luke Littler steps up his pursuit of a fifth European Tour title with a showdown against former European Champion Ross Smith.

Littler has endured a below-par start to the Premier League campaign, winning just one match across the opening three nights, but resumed normal service by thrashing Mike De Decker 6-1 with a 113.8 average on Saturday.

The back-to-back World Champion has won each of his last six meetings with Smith, including a four sets to one triumph en route to Winmau World Masters glory earlier this month.

Smith, a three-time European Tour event finalist, also impressed in his opener on Saturday, averaging 102.3 in a 6-1 rout of Daryl Gurney.

Luke Humphries ended home hopes by edging past Krzysztof Ratajski  in a tense deciding leg on Saturday, and the world number two now comes up against Croatian trailblazer Boris Krcmar.

Humphries is searching for his ninth European Tour title, having claimed Players Championship glory last week, and runs into an opponent who knocked out three-time European Tour event winner Martin Schindler 6-4 in Round Two.

Another blockbuster clash sees reigning European Champion Gian van Veen take on former World Matchplay champion Nathan Aspinall.

Van Veen was forced to dig deep to deny Andrew Gilding in a deciding leg in Saturday’s opener, while Aspinall defied a 101.7 average from Darryl Pilgrim to prevail 6-3 and kick-start his quest for a fourth European Tour title inside 12 months.

Wessel Nijman’s reward for his dominant win over Gary Anderson is a showdown with a rejuvenated Cameron Menzies.

Nijman, who has already picked up a Players Championship title and reached a further final this month, averaged 103.5 in sweeping aside Anderson.

Menzies, meanwhile, landed nine 180s in his first round win over Ritchie Edhouse, before remarkably whitewashing James Wade with a 99 average on Saturday.

World Cup of Darts winner Josh Rock, a Euro Tour event winner in 2024, faces a tricky test against a resurgent Cristo Reyes.

Rock, who sits bottom of the Premier League table after three straight defeats, returned to winning ways by hammering William O’Connor 6-1 with a 103 average on Saturday night.

Reyes, who came through European Qualifying School last month to regain a Tour Card, finds himself through to the final day of a European Tour event for the first time since 2018 after dumping out Niko Springer and Ryan Searle so far this weekend.

Premier League leader Jonny Clayton, who triumphed in Glasgow on Thursday night, comes up against former World Champion Michael Smith.

Clayton seemingly picked up from where he left off 48 hours ago by fending off a tough test from Adam Gawlas, while Smith took full advantage of his late call-up via the reserve list to edge out Joe Cullen 6-5 with a 97 average and seven 180s.

Stephen Bunting, twice a European Tour event winner last season, faces two-time Players Championship event winner Jermaine Wattimena.

Bunting battled past Niels Zonneveld 6-4 despite an average of just 88 in his opener, while Wattimena averaged 100.7 in a high quality 6-5 success over Danny Noppert.

Two players who remain in search of their first European Tour title go head-to-head as Chris Dobey meets Luke Woodhouse.

Thirteenth seed Dobey emphatically whitewashed Connor Scutt in his opener, while Woodhouse averaged 102.6 in reeling off five legs on the spin from 4-1 down to deny Callan Rydz.

The action gets under way from 12pm GMT, with Last 16 and quarter-final ties to be contested over the best of 11 legs, semi-finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
