German Darts Open 2022 | Draw, Live Scores and Schedule of Play
European Tour action continues with the 2022 German Darts Open in Jena, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The 11th of 13 Euro Tour events this season features 44 players battling it out for £140,000 in prize money at the Sparkassen-Arena from September 9-11.
The top 16 players from the ProTour Order of Merit (as of June 28) are seeded and enter at the Second Round stage, while 28 qualifiers battle it out for the right to join them.
The unseeded players are made up of 21 Tour Card Holder Qualifiers, two Associate Member Qualifiers, two Host Nation Qualifiers, the top ranked German, one Nordic & Baltic Qualifier and an East European Qualifier.
Michael van Gerwen is the reigning champion after he defeated Ian White 8-3 in the 2019 final, however the world number three has withdrawn from the event alongside Michael Smith, Adrian Lewis and Darren Webster.
Top seed Luke Humphries is eyeing his fifth Euro Tour silverware of 2022, while world number one Gerwyn Price returns to action after skipping last weekend’s Hungarian Darts Trophy.
Hungarian Trophy champion Joe Cullen, World Champion Peter Wright, Jonny Clayton, Rob Cross and Dirk van Duijvenbode are among the other seeded stars competing.
Tour Card qualifiers include Daryl Gurney, Raymond van Barneveld, Steve Beaton, John Henderson and Josh Rock.
All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
