Bahrain Darts Masters News

The Bahrain Darts Masters returns to the World Series of Darts calendar in 2026.

The fourth staging of the Bahrain Masters will feature 16 players competing at the Bahrain International Circuit from January 15-16.

The opening World Series of Darts event of 2026 sees eight PDC stars joined by eight Asian representatives as they compete for the title.

Stephen Bunting is the defending champion after he defeated Gerwyn Price 8-4 in last year’s final to claim the title for the first time.

Bunting is joined in this year’s field by back-to-back World Champion and 2024 Bahrain Masters winner Luke Littler and six other PDC superstars – including 2024 World Champion Luke Humphries and World Championship runner-up Gian van Veen.

European Champion Van Veen will feature alongside his Dutch compatriot Michael van Gerwen – the most successful player in World Series history.

The eight-player PDC line-up is completed by former World Champion Gerwyn Price, Dutch star Danny Noppert – who featured in four televised ranking semi-finals in 2025 – and former World Matchplay champion Nathan Aspinall.

The event will see the eight PDC stars take on eight Asian representatives in round one at the Exhibition World.

The Asian representatives for the Bahrain Masters include six players from the PDC Asian Tour who competed at the recent World Championship, headlined by Filipino stars Alexis Toylo and Lourence Ilagan.

Japanese duo Motomu Sakai and Ryusei Azemoto also feature, as Singapore’s darting icon Paul Lim graces the big stage along with Hong Kong’s World Cup quarter-finalist Man Lok Leung.

Completing the 16-player field will be Bahrain duo Abdulla Saeed and Basem Mahmood, who won through last month’s Bahrain Qualifiers to confirm their World Series returns.
