The World Series of Darts breaks new ground with the inaugural Bahrain Darts Masters, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
PDC Darts heads to Bahrain for the first time in the opening event of this year’s global tour from January 12-13.
Eight leading PDC stars and eight Asian representatives will battle it out for the right to become the first name on the trophy and clinch the £20,000 top prize.
Newly crowned World Champion and world number one Michael Smith heads the field, alongside former World Champions Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross and Raymond van Barneveld.
World number five Luke Humphries will make his World Series debut, with Belgian number one Dimitri Van den Bergh – a semi-finalist at Alexandra Palace – also set to star.
Jonny Clayton, a former Premier League and World Cup of Darts champion, completes the eight PDC representatives to compete at the Bahrain International Circuit.
The eight Asian representatives are headlined by Singapore legend Paul Lim, Japan’s recent World Championship representative Toru Suzuki and Bahrain qualifiers Bassim Mahmood and Abdulnaser Yusuf.
In addition, Japan’s Yuki Yamada, Philippines’ Alain Abiabi, India’s Nitin Kumar and Hong Kong’s Man Lok Leung will star in the event.
First Round and Quarter-Final matches are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, while Semi-Finals are best of 13 and the final best of 15.
