Among the countries competing in the 2026 final are Austria, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Greece, Australia, Ukraine, Israel, and Norway. Finland’s dramatic performance “Liekinheitin” has attracted attention for its fiery staging, while Australia’s entry “Eclipse,” performed by Delta Goodrem, is widely considered one of the strongest vocal performances of the year. Greece’s electro-pop entry “Ferto” and Israel’s multilingual ballad “Michelle” are also among the most discussed songs of the competition.
As always, the voting system combines professional jury votes and public televoting, each contributing 50 percent of the final score. Viewers across participating nations can vote for their favourite performances, but not for their own country. Organisers have also introduced tighter voting controls this year following concerns about promotional campaigning and vote manipulation during previous contests.
