The 2024 European Darts Open takes place in Leverkusen, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The eighth of 13 European Tour events this year sees 48 players competing for £175,000 in prize money at the Ostermann Arena from June 21-23.
The top 16 players in the PDC Order of Merit qualify automatically alongside the 16 highest ranked players on the PDC ProTour Order of Merit – who are seeded in the draw.
A further ten players qualified via the Tour Card holder qualifying event, plus four Host Nation qualifiers, one Nordic & Baltic Associate Member qualifier and one East European qualifier.
Gerwyn Price is the defending champion after he defeated Dirk van Duijvenbode 8-7 in last year’s final.
Price is the number five seed in a high quality field which also includes world number one Luke Humphries and former World Champions Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith, Rob Cross, Peter Wright, Raymond van Barneveld and Stephen Bunting.
The seeded contingent includes the likes of Dave Chisnall, Damon Heta, Danny Noppert, Josh Rock and Ross Smith, while Order of Merit Qualifiers include Dimitri van den Bergh, Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade.
Gary Anderson, Luke Littler, Nathan Aspinall, Jonny Clayton and Ryan Joyce have withdrawn from the event and have been replaced by Ritchie Edhouse, Kevin Doets, Dylan Slevin, Jamie Hughes & Ryan Meikle from the Reserve List.
All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
