Women’s World Matchplay 2023 | Draw, Live Scores and Schedule of Play
The Women’s World Matchplay returns to the Winter Gardens in 2023 and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The second edition of the event will be held on Sunday July 23 and will see eight players competing for £25,000 in prize money.
The winner will also secure a place in November’s Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Championship at Alexandra Palace the following month.
The field is comprised of the top eight players from the rolling 12-month PDC Women’s Series Order of Merit, with five different nations represented this year.
Fallon Sherrock is the defending champion after she defeated Aileen De Graaf 6-3 in the inaugural final 12 months ago.
Sherrock returns as the number three seed and is joined in the bottom half of the draw by four-time Women’s World Champion Lisa Ashton, two-time Women’s World Champion Mikuru Suzuki and 2022 runner-up De Graaf.
The top half of the draw houses reigning WDF Women’s World Champion Beau Greaves – the number one seed and winner of seven PDC Women’s Series titles this year.
Republic of Ireland’s Robin Byrne, Wales’ Rhian O’Sullivan and Dutch newcomer Noa-Lynn van Leuven are also vying for glory.
Quarter-Final matches will be contested over the best of seven legs, with Semi-Finals best of nine and the final best of 11.
