Criteria confirmed for 2021 World Series of Darts Finals
The field criteria for the 2021 World Series of Darts Finals has been confirmed, with 24 players competing across three days in Amsterdam.
The star-studded line-up will be confirmed following the Boylesports World Grand Prix and will feature reigning champion Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen and history-maker Fallon Sherrock.
The invitational tournament will be staged at AFAS Live in Amsterdam from October 29-31 and will feature a £300,000 prize fund.
World number one Gerwyn Price is the defending champion, while World Matchplay and World Cup of Darts winner Peter Wright also features.
The eight PDC representatives who competed in the recent Nordic Masters – headlined by eventual champion Van Gerwen and runner-up Sherrock – will be joined by the leading four non-qualified players from the PDC Order of Merit following the World Grand Prix.
Latvia’s Madars Razma, who reached the Quarter-Finals of the Nordic Masters, will be joined by three other international invited players to reflect the global nature of the event, while four additional Dutch invitees will join MVG on home soil.
In addition, a further four players will come from the Tour Card Holder Qualifier on Monday October 18.
