Stephen Burton

English thrower Stephen Burton has quietly climbed the rankings with steady progress and perseverance.

The Ipswich resident has been a professional for several seasons and his hard work paid off in 2024 when he reached his first Players Championship semi-final. “Bertie” has also competed in the UK Open and Players Championship Finals on three occasions and will make his second World Championship appearance in 2024/25.

With a measured throw and calm demeanour, Burton continues to chip away on the ProTour, aiming to convert his consistency into a maiden ranking title.
