Richard Veenstra

Former BDO star Richard Veenstra is making his mark on the professional circuit.

The Dutchman, nicknamed “Flyers,” earned his PDC Tour Card in January 2023 and promptly reached three Players Championship quarter-finals to cement his professional status. A two-time Lakeside semi-finalist, Veenstra impressed at the 2023/24 World Championship by beating Ben Robb and Kim Huybrechts before losing to Michael van Gerwen.

He is adapting his smooth, classical throw to the PDC stage and remains in pursuit of a first ranking title. Veenstra’s experience and natural ability suggest it may not be far away.
