Biography

Late-blooming Dutchman Patrick Geeraets has made a remarkable transition from soft-tip darts to the professional stage.

The Venlo thrower stunned the field at 2024 Q School, defeating Nico Kurz and Damian Mol to secure his PDC Tour Card at the first attempt. He soon impressed on the floor circuit with a semi-final run at a Players Championship event and announced himself on television with a spirited UK Open debut, beating Christian Kist, Adam Smith-Neale and Jeffrey de Zwaan before losing to Josh Rock in the last 64.

Geeraets continues to juggle his passion for darts with a full-time career and is determined to make the most of his late entry into the professional ranks.
