Biography

Welsh favourite Jonny Clayton rose from pub player to multiple major champion in remarkable fashion.

Clayton first tasted TV glory by partnering Gerwyn Price to win the 2020 World Cup of Darts. He enjoyed a sensational 2021 campaign, capturing the Masters, World Grand Prix and World Series Finals and capping it with victory on his Premier League debut. In June 2023 he secured a second World Cup title and remains a fixture inside the world’s top ten.

Nicknamed “The Ferret”, Clayton is admired for his smooth throw and heavy scoring. With seven televised titles, ten floor titles and two televised nine-darters to his name, he continues to contend for big prizes and thrill fans with his infectious enthusiasm.
