Explosive Dutchman Dirk van Duijvenbode has become a fan favourite thanks to his high-energy walk-ons and fearless play.

The “Aubergenius” regained his Tour Card in 2020 and stunned the darting world later that year by reaching the final of the World Grand Prix while still working on an aubergine farm. He has since backed up that breakthrough with quarter-final runs at the World Championship and other majors, establishing himself as a constant threat.

Van Duijvenbode has also captured six Players Championship titles since 2021 and continues to climb the rankings with his rapid tempo and heavy scoring.
