Biography
Australian ace Damon Heta has enjoyed a meteoric rise to become his country’s premier darting star.
“The Heat” announced himself on the world stage with a sensational victory at the 2019 Brisbane Darts Masters, defeating James Wade, Gary Anderson, Simon Whitlock and Rob Cross to lift the title. After securing his Tour Card in 2020 he claimed a first ranking title that September and has since posted deep runs at major events.
Heta’s crowning moment came in 2022 when he partnered Whitlock to steer Australia to a first World Cup of Darts success, while he has added a European Tour crown and multiple ProTour titles to his haul. Known for his smooth throwing action and clinical finishing, the Perth native continues to climb the rankings.
