The session times for the 2020 World Matchplay have been confirmed ahead of the prestigious tournament’s makeshift move to Milton Keynes.
The Betfred World Matchplay will take place behind closed doors at the Marshall Arena from July 18-26, with 32 players competing for the Phil Taylor Trophy.
It will be the first time the prestigious summer show-piece has not been staged at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool since the tournament began in 1994.
The World Matchplay will be the first fully televised PDC tournament to take place following the suspension of events in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a change to the original schedule, the afternoon session on Sunday July 19 will not now take place, with the four first round matches being split across the opening four evening sessions of the event from Saturday-Tuesday.
The second round will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the Quarter-Finals split across Thursday and Friday.
Saturday July 25 will see the semi-finals held, before the tournament concludes with the final on Sunday July 26.
The top 16 players in the PDC Order of Merit joined by the 16 highest ranked players from the ProTour Order of Merit following the conclusion of the PDC Summer Series on Sunday July 12.
The draw for Round One of the World Matchplay will be made in the evening of Sunday July 12.
