The World Championship returns bigger and better from December 14 to January 1, featuring 72 of the world’s top stars battling it out for the £1.8 million prize fund and for the right to be crowned World Champion.
But it’s not just the tungsten heavyweights that will grace the huge Alexandra Palace stage this Christmas, with the customary walk-on girls and dancers bringing more glamour to the sport’s show-piece.
Here’s the low-down on the top nine World Championship walk-on girls from recent years…

Daniella Allfree

Daniella has been a walk-on girl for over five years and is a firm favourite with darts fans up and down the country. It’s not hard to see why!
Having worked at the majority of major televised events in the UK this year, the brunette beauty from Chesterfield is set for another popular stint at Ally Pally.
Outside of darts, she specialises in lingerie and shoots for stores including Matalan and Asda and once came third in Miss Great Britain.

Charlotte Wood

Charlotte’s modelling career began aged 18 and working as a beauty therapist, when she was nominated for FHM’s annual “High Street Honeys” competition. She finished second out of 8,000 entrants.
She made her walk-on debut during the 2013 Players Championship Finals and became an instant hit on social media.
The Leicestershire blonde was introduced to darts by Daniella when they met modelling on the Superbike circuit and the pair have relaunched their combined calendar for 2018.

Ashley Zaat

Ashley is the first Dutch walk-on girl on the PDC circuit and regularly features at European Tour events throughout the year.
A self-proclaimed actress, model, dancer and entertainer, Ashley was a walk-on girl during the Premier League night in Rotterdam earlier this year and took to the stage at Alexandra Palace for the first time in December.
Her favourite walk-on is Peter Wright’s ‘Don’t Stop The Party’.

Rebecca Bowers

Dublin-based model Rebecca got her first taste of life as a walk-on girl during the 2015 World Grand Prix and became an instant hit alongside Hazel O’Sullivan.
She returned to the Citywest this October before joining newcomer Ashley Zaat for the first week of the 2017/18 World Championship at Ally Pally.

Jemelin Artigas

This Venezuelan beauty queen was a new addition to the walk-on roster in 2016 and is full-time Model/MUA/Dancer and actress based in London.
Jemelin has lived in Britain for 15 years working as a professional model and is also an entrepreneur running her own beauty business.
After making her first appearance on the World Championship stage last year, she returned to the walkway during this year’s Premier League Darts back in February.

Holly Johnson

A welcomed new addition to the World Championship stage in 2015, Brentwood-based Holly is a business development consultant by-day and a singer and model in her spare time.
The multi-talented 29-year-old was a former contestant on X Factor and made it as far as the boot camp stage.

Fiona Florczak

Fiona is a professional make-up artist who has been working in television, film, music and fashion for over five years.
She also made her walk-on debut during last year’s World Championship and lists her skills as singer, stylist and body artist.

Hazel O’Sullivan

Hazel is perhaps one of the most recognised walk-on girls after her appearance on Big Brother in 2013 and is dating Crystal Palace midfielder Andros Townsend.
The Irish stunner has been a regular fixture on the PDC stage at both the Premier League and World Championship in recent years but it remains to be seen whether she will make a return at Ally Pally this Christmas.

PDC Darts dancers

The PDC Darts dancers are on-hand to add even more glamour to the greatest show on planet darts and have also featured during the Premier League by popular demand.
Back with an all-new line-up this year, the team is tasked with creating a dance/cheer-leading routine for every player’s entrance music, no matter how obscure it may be!
