The final eight face off in a quest for the 2026 US Darts Masters title at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday.

The opening night of the World Series showpiece saw seven of the eight PDC stars safely progress, while Josh Rock suffered a shock early exit.

Day Two plays host to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in one bumper season at The Hulu Theater as the remaining hopefuls compete for the £30,000 top prize.

Luke Humphries is vying to become the first player to successfully defend the US Masters title, and the former World Champion comes up against two-time World Series event winner Stephen Bunting in the quarter-finals.

Humphries, who recently claimed World Cup of Darts glory earlier this month, opened up with a commanding 6-1 win over Leonard Gates on Friday, while Bunting safely saw off CDC Continental Cup winner Alex Spellman 6-2.

The duo have taken two wins apiece from their four previous World Series meetings, though Humphries has won 17 of their 27 previous encounters in total.

Meanwhile, Luke Littler steps up his pursuit of a maiden US Masters title with a tussle against Canadian number one – Jim Long.

Long pulled off a huge upset on opening night by dumping out Premier League star Rock 6-4, and the Tour Card holder now has his sights new on what would be an even greater scalp.

Littler was forced to dig deep to edge out World Championship qualifier David Cameron 6-4 in Round One, and the world number one is out to add to his Saudi Arabia Masters success at the beginning of the year.

The teenage trailblazer has claimed every available major title in 2026 so far and has never lost to a regional qualifier on a World Series stage.

Former US Masters finalist Gerwyn Price faces a tasty showdown with 2025 World Matchplay finalist James Wade.

Price recovered from a slow start to dispatch debutant Brayden Hall 6-4 in his opener, while Wade marked his return to MSG with a 6-3 success over Adam Sevada despite an average of just 82.5.

Wade prevailed 11-8 when the pair last met in the semi-finals of March’s UK Open, and ‘The Machine’ has won three of their last four fixtures in all competitions.

Meanwhile, World Championship finalist Gian van Veen comes up against multiple major champion Jonny Clayton.

Van Veen, runner-up in January’s Bahrain Masters, is chasing down his first World Series silverware and began with a 6-1 rout of USA’s Fred Krueger.

Clayton, twice a World Series event winner, overcame former UK Open finalist Gary Mawson 6-2 in his first round tie and has won three of his last four meetings with Van Veen.

The action gets under way from 12.30am BST, with quarter-final matches to be contested over the best of 11 legs, semi-finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
