Eight PDC representatives will be joined by eight North American qualifiers as they battle it out for the £30,000 top prize at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.
Rob Cross is the defending champion after he defeated Gerwyn Price 8-7 in last year’s final.
The former World Champion is among a star-studded field which also includes newly-crowned Premier League champion Luke Humphries and reigning World Champion Luke Littler.
Former US Masters champion Michael van Gerwen makes his return to competitive action for the first time in over a month and is joined by former major winners Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall and world number ten Damon Heta.
Tour Card holders Danny Lauby, Matt Campbell, Jim Long and Jules van Dongen are among the North American representatives, as well as CDC stars Leonard Gates, Adam Sevada, Jason Brandon and Stowe Buntz.
First Round and Quarter-Final matches are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
