Premier League Darts 2024 Dates and Venues

The dates and venues for the 2024 Premier League Darts season have been confirmed, with Cardiff to host the opening night of action.

The new season will begin at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff on Thursday February 1, the first of 17 venues to host the sport’s most prestigious invitational event.

The tournament will be held on consecutive Thursday nights from February to May as the sport’s biggest names battle it out for the coveted title.

The popular Cardiff venue, which saw Gerwyn Price triumph on home soil in the 2023 Premier League, will stage the opening night for the second time in three years.

February will also feature league nights in Berlin, Glasgow, Newcastle and Exeter, before the roadshow continues with visits to Brighton, Nottingham, Dublin and Belfast in March.

April will see further league nights held in Manchester, Birmingham, Rotterdam and Liverpool before the final three league nights in Aberdeen, Leeds and Sheffield, followed by the season-ending Play-Offs at The O2 in London.

The format for the past two seasons has seen eight players competing each night in a weekly knockout format before the top four players from the final league table progress to the Play-Offs, however it is not yet known if that format will be retained or altered for 2024.

The line-up for the Premier League is likely to be confirmed following the World Championship in early January with the news that The Masters will now be held from February 2-4.

Michael van Gerwen claimed a record seventh Premier League crown courtesy of an 11-5 victory over Price in the 2023 final.
