The 2025 Poland Darts Masters reaches its climax in Gliwice on Saturday as the final eight battle it out for the title.

The opening night saw seven of the eight PDC picks safely progress, with home hopes now resting on the shoulders of Poland’s premier player.

Day Two of the season’s fifth World Series event plays host to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in one bumper season at the PreZero Arena.

The quarter-final line-up features a World Series trilogy between defending champion Luke Littler and in-form Nathan Aspinall.

The pair face off for the third consecutive World Series event as Littler bids to avert a hat-trick of defeats at the hands of his stablemate.

Aspinall prevailed in the quarter-finals of both the Nordic Masters and US Masters – where he finished runner-up to Luke Humphries in New York last weekend.

Littler launched his title defence with a 6-4 victory over Karel Sedlacek with the aid of six 180s on Friday night, while Aspinall overcame a late bout of double trouble to see off Radek Szaganski by the same scoreline.

Krzysztof Ratajski is flying the flag for the host nation as the sole Polish player remaining in the competition, and he takes on top seed Stephen Bunting in the evening’s opener.

Ratajski raised the roof at the PreZero Arena by defeating Jonny Clayton 6-3 with a 100.3 average and will be determined to pick up from where he left off.

Bunting, meanwhile, bounced back from last week’s shock defeat to Jason Brandon at the US Masters by overcoming Tytus Kanik 6-3, though will be eyeing a marked improvement on his match average of just 87.5.

Michael van Gerwen, the 2023 champion, comes up against last year’s beaten finalist Rob Cross, with both vying to return to top form.

Van Gerwen, who returned to competitive action in New York last week following a month’s absence, scraped through a gruelling contest with Croatia’s Pero Ljubic on Friday despite averaging just 84.7.

The 21-time World Series event winner is looking to add to that tally for the first time since the Dutch Masters in January 2024, having failed to reach a World Series event final since.

Cross returned to winning ways after last week’s 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Danny Lauby as he cruised past Krzysztof Kciuk 6-2 despite an average of just 85.4.

The reigning Dutch Masters champion will be out to inflict more frustration on Van Gerwen and reach his third World Series semi-final of the season.

Gerwyn Price, the number two seed, faces a showdown with fellow Premier League star Chris Dobey.

Price was denied by eventual champion Humphries in the semi-finals at Madison Square Garden last Saturday and got his campaign under way in Gliwice with a routine 6-3 win over Sebastian Bialecki.

World Championship semi-finalist Dobey is targeting a place in his first World Series final and opened up with a 6-1 rout of Hungary’s György Jehirszki, registering the highest average of the first round (100.84) in the process.

The action gets under way from 6pm BST, with Quarter-Final matches to be contested over the best of 11 legs, Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
