Players Championship 2020 Event Three Draw: The First Round line-up for Saturday’s ProTour event in Wigan
The draw for the third Players Championship event of the season has been confirmed, with 128 players in action in Wigan.
The third and fourth of 30 Players Championship events to be held across the season will feature 128 players competing at the Robin Park Sports Centre on February 15 and 16.
Each event carries a total prize fund of £75,000, with money acquired counting towards both the ProTour Order of Merit and main Order of Merit.
All but one of the 128 Tour Card holders are in action, with Kyle Anderson’s withdrawal meaning Scott Mitchell steps in as the leader of the Challenge Tour Order of Merit.
World number one Michael van Gerwen will be out to clinch the first ranking title of the season, while World Champion Peter Wright, World Matchplay champion Rob Cross and Grand Slam champion Gerwyn Price also feature.
Gary Anderson is aiming to follow up last Saturday’s success, while Players Championship two winner Nathan Aspinall also features, as do the likes of Michael Smith, Dave Chisnall, Glen Durrant, Daryl Gurney and Ian White.
Play commences at 12pm GMT, with matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals to be contested over the best of 11 legs, while Semi-Finals are best of 13 and the final is best of 15.
