The 2023 German Darts Grand Prix draws to a close in Munich on Easter Monday as the 16 remaining players battle it out for glory.

A £30,000 top prize is up for grabs at the Kulturhalle Zenith as ten seeds and six qualifiers collide over two sessions.

The afternoon session plays host to the Third Round ties, before the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and final follow in the evening.

Reigning Luke Humphries resumes his title defence with a tasty tie against former Grand Slam champion Jose de Sousa.

After missing the last two Euro Tour events through illness, top seed Humphries marked his return with a commanding 6-2 win over Jeffrey de Zwaan on Sunday, while De Sousa averaged 13 points less (86) in his 6-2 defeat of Steve Beaton.

Gerwyn Price continues his quest for a hat-trick of Euro Tour titles when he faces reigning World Champion Michael Smith in a blockbuster Third Round clash.

Price has picked up back-to-back titles in Leverkusen and Riesa in recent weeks and stretched his unbeaten run to 11 games by seeing off Raymond van Barneveld 6-2 with a 100 average on Sunday.

Smith, meanwhile, survived a huge scare from debutant Adam Warner – who missed three match darts in the deciding leg before the world number one saved his skin with a 116 checkout.

Recent Dutch Open champion Berry van Peer marks his first appearance in the Last 16 of a Euro Tour event with a tie against former UK Open semi-finalist Keane Barry.

Van Peer, who does not possess a PDC Tour Card and came through the Associate Member qualifier, defeated Jules van Dongen in Round One before dumping out 14th seed Josh Rock.

Irish youngster Barry has registered impressive wins over Andy Boulton and third seed Rob Cross to move into the Last 16 of a Euro Tour event for the third time.

Dutch duo Dirk van Duijvenbode and Danny Noppert face off for the second successive event, with Noppert looking to avenge last week’s narrow 6-5 defeat at the same stage of proceedings in Riesa.

Van Duijvenbode, runner-up in the European Darts Open a fortnight ago, fired in seven maximums on his way to defeating Callan Rydz in his opener, while Noppert edged out Host Nation qualifier Liam Maendl-Lawrance 6-5 for the second successive week.

World Cup of Darts winner and former Gibraltar Open champion Damon Heta looks to remain in contention for a second Euro Tour crown at the expense of Masters champion and Premier League star Chris Dobey.

Dave Chisnall, Baltic Sea Darts Open champion in February, takes on reigning UK Open champion Andrew Gilding – the man he defeated 8-6 in last year’s Belgian Open final.

Joe Cullen battled his way to a rot-stopping 6-5 win over European Champion Ross Smith on Sunday, and the former Masters champion now faces qualifier Lee Evans – who saw off Alan Soutar 6-4 before thrashing world number two Peter Wright 6-1.

Nathan Aspinall looks to continue his pursuit of a maiden Euro Tour title by overcoming former ProTour event winner Jim Williams – who has already dispatched Vincent van der Voort and Martin Schindler this weekend.

The action gets under way from 12pm BST, with Third Round and Quarter-Final ties to be contested over the best of 11 legs, Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
