The 2022 European Darts Open takes place in Leverkusen, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The fifth of 13 European Tour events this season features 47 players battling it out for £140,000 in prize money at the Ostermann Arena from May 6-8.

The top 16 players from the ProTour Order of Merit (as of March 16) are seeded and enter at the Second Round stage, while 32 qualifiers battle it out for the right to join them.

The 32 unseeded players are made up of 23 Tour Card Holder Qualifiers, two Associate Member Qualifiers, two Host Nation Qualifiers, the top two highest ranked Germans, one Nordic & Baltic Qualifier and one East European Qualifier.

Gerwyn Price is the number one seed, ahead of Peter Wright, Jose de Sousa, Joe Cullen and Michael van Gerwen.

Van Gerwen is eyeing is third Euro Tour title of the year and is joined by fellow Premier League stars Jonny Clayton and James Wade, as well as the likes of Ryan Searle, Rob Cross and recent German Darts Grand Prix winner – Luke Humphries.

Tour Card holder qualifiers include Dave Chisnall, Daryl Gurney, Stephen Bunting, Keane Barry and Josh Rock.

Danny Baggish has withdrawn from the event for personal reasons, meaning Karel Sedlacek receives a bye into the Second Round.

All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
