Dutch Darts Championship 2023 | Draw, Live Scores and Schedule of Play
European Tour action continues with the 2023 Dutch Darts Championship, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The sixth of 13 Euro Tour events this season features 48 players battling it out for £175,000 in prize money at the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden from April 28-30.
The top 16 players from the ProTour Order of Merit (as of February 28) are seeded and enter at the Second Round stage, while 32 qualifiers battle it out for the right to join them.
The unseeded players are made up of 24 Tour Card Holder Qualifiers, the two highest placed Dutch players of the Order of Merit, two Host Nation Qualifiers, two Associate Member qualifiers, a Nordic & Baltic qualifier and an East European qualifier.
Michael Smith is the defending champion after he overcame Danny Noppert 8-7 in last year’s final.
Luke Humphries is seeded number one, having picked up four Euro Tour titles last season, while this year’s Baltic Sea Darts Open winner Dave Chisnall is the number two seed.
Home hero Michael van Gerwen is bidding to claim this title for the first time, and is joined by fellow Premier League stars Peter Wright, Nathan Aspinall and Jonny Clayton.
UK Open champion Andrew Gilding, Dutch star Dirk van Duijvenbode, Rob Cross and Josh Rock are also among the seeds.
Two-time World Champion Gary Anderson makes his return to the European Tour for the first time since 2016 after coming through the Tour Card holder qualifier.
Other notable qualifiers include Dimitri van den Bergh, Krzysztof Ratajski, Ross Smith, Gabriel Clemens and Stephen Bunting.
All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
