The ninth of 14 PDC European Tour events this year features 48 players competing for £175,000 in prize money at the Wunderino Arena from July 11-13.
The tournament sees the top 16 players from the main Order of Merit seeded in the draw and enter at the Second Round stage, while the 16 Pro Tour Order of Merit qualifiers enter in Round One.
They are joined by a further ten Tour Card holder qualifiers, four Host Nation qualifiers, a Nordic & Baltic qualifier and an East European qualifier.
Rob Cross is the defending champion after he defeated Luke Humphries 8-6 in last year’s final to secure his second European Tour title.
This year’s field is headed by top seed Humphries, who is joined by former World Champions including Gerwyn Price, Gary Anderson and Stephen Bunting.
Former major winners Nathan Aspinall, James Wade, Jonny Clayton and Chris Dobey are also among the seeded contingent.
ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers include Wessel Nijman, Gian van Veen, Cameron Menzies, Raymond van Barneveld and Dirk van Duijvenbode.
From the original list of entries, Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Ryan Joyce, Michael Smith and Andrew Gilding have withdrawn from the event and have been replaced from the reserve list by Mickey Mansell, William O’Connor, Kim Huybrechts, Richard Veenstra and Niko Springer.
All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
