The race to the 2022 European Darts Championship | Latest qualification table
The race to qualify for the 2022 European Darts Championship in Dortmund will draw to a close this weekend.
Following the conclusion of the Gibraltar Darts Trophy on Sunday, the top 32 players on the European Order of Merit will secure qualification for the European Championship.
The European Championship takes place at the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund from October 27-30 and features a total prize fund of £500,000.
A number of places remain up for grabs in the event going into the 13th and final European Tour event of the season in Gibraltar.
Callan Rydz occupies the 32nd and final qualification spot but has not qualified for the Gibraltar Trophy, meaning he would drop out of the field if Chris Dobey was to reach the Second Round.
James Wade, the 2018 European Champion, is also absent from Gibraltar and faces an anxious wait to see if he has done enough to clinch a place in the European Championship.
Former Gibraltar Trophy winner Krzysztof Ratajski will not be returning to The Rock this year and is only £1,000 clear of the chasing pack in the provisional field for Dortmund.
The likes of Wesley Plaisier, William O’Connor, Jim Williams and Keane Barry will all have their sights set on gatecrashing the European Championship with strong runs this weekend.
